No need to say goodbye...

The Call - Regina Spektor
OST The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
Until it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye

Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never been this way before
All you can do is try to know who your friends are
As you head off to the war

Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light
You'll come back when it's over
No need to say goodbye

You'll come back when it's over
No need to say goodbye

Now we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
Doesn't mean that you have to forget

Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
Until they're before your eyes
You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say goodbye

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say goodbye

It's sad to say goodbye to someone
This is for you...
To everyone whose soul is weary and needs to rest...
For those souls who met at a certain point in time and was parted forever...
For Susan Pevensie (Anna Popplewell), whom shall not be seen anymore on the succeeding Narnia sequels, your splendor will always be remembered... Hope to see you in other cool movies...
This is for you, Inang... I won't say goodbye...

Supplement to my last post

"You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence."

If taking away man's initiative and independence won't build character and  courage, then what would push man to yield such???

I have pondered on the answer and I was able to pull it out like a eureka moment (thanks to my good 'ol ex)...

The answer is simple... UNDERSTANDING...

You won't be able to motivate anyone unless you know enough. It's like reporting, you can't talk about something you don't thoroughly know. If you just keep on blabbing things just to cover the lack of understanding, people will surely notice it and in the end nothing will be learned (unless someone who really understands starts to talk, right?!).

And after understanding, ACCEPTANCE should follow (this one came from you sweetie). It's not enough that we understand, there are things that we do not have control and we need to accept those things.

Putting these two together wont just build character and courage, it'll also yield trust, comfort and a sense of belongingness... yeah... that's the keywords...

That settles it...

Special Hi to my unknown readers, detractors, critics and old friends...:-)

Yeah...

"You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence."

It is unclear if the late Pres. Ronald Reagan or Pres. Abraham Lincoln uttered these words. I am just posting this right now because I feel like posting it.

I read it from Ate Meme's shoutout on YM and it struck me.

That's all I can say for now...

Respect other's right to be different

“Children are completely egoistic; they feel their needs intensely and strive ruthlessly to satisfy them.”
- Sigmund Freud

Isa na namang KEWL na quote. Kaya ansarap mag-blog eh...

e·go·ist
n.
1. One devoted to one's own interests and advancement; an egocentric person.

Oh 'di ba. Parang bata. Walang sinisino.

"Yes its true that you gain a certain amount of confidence after achieving a level of expertise.  After reaching perfection, however, you just get plain cocky- lets be humble and feel for those who have achieved less!"
- stanleycruz

Tama si Pareng stanleycruz eh. Kung nasa taas ka, you need to respect your subordinates. Kaya ka nga nasa taas eh, they'll support you down there so you need to keep them.

Lahat kayo... Kaunting ingat...

Blog when you mean it

"It depends upon the conform, what's important is essential..."

Wala lang, I just need something to ponder on para makapag-blog ulit.

Gusto ko naman talaga mag-blog. Kaya lang kasi ayoko ng overrated stuff. Pag masyado ng marami ang nagbblog, it becomes a trend, parang FB at FS (dati).

"The idea that laws and legal proceedings must be fair. The Constitution guarantees that the government cannot take away a person's basic rights to 'life, liberty or property, without due process of law... Due process is best defined in one word--fairness" [http://www.lectlaw.com/def/d080.htm]

As in KEWL...KUNG napapatupad ng maayos. Ang hirap kasi pag walang ganyan 'di ba? Minsan nga, naiisip kong yan ang ugat ng lahat ng batas, by-laws, or any governing rule sa kahit anong country, state or organization.

What's the point?

'Yung governing body? 'Yung nagformulate ng batas? Or 'yung taong huhusga sa'yo???

On the spot, huhusgahan niya ang mga bagay-bagay. May desisyon kaagad.

Paalam Hidari Shotaro at Philip-kun... That settles it!
